Appeals
To ensure our Health Plan members and providers are supported, appeals can now be submitted via RadMD.
RadMD offers you an efficient way to send appeals to our team, and we hope you will take advantage of this latest enhancement to our website.
- When Evolent manages clinical appeals for a health plan partner, 'Initiate Appeal' will be located at the top of the exam request verification details screen if the authorization request has been denied.
- You will be prompted to answer a series of clinical questions and upload additional clinical information when 'Initiate Appeal' is selected.
- If the member's health plan allows a reconsideration or a re-review of the authorization request, you will be prompted to cancel the appeal and upload clinical documentation to the original request to initiate a re-review.
